Breathing Techniques ( Pranayama )
Welcome to pranayama and meditation class. Let’s start this class with a little bit of education. If you don’t
get food, you survive, maybe 20-21 days or a month. But for some people, it may be ten days. If you don’t
get water, you survive one day, two or four days from the record people, and start getting dehydrated.
And the last one air, how long can you survive without air? The record is only 17 minutes. So air is life, the
breath is life. If you master how to breathe correctly, then you will not have any diseases or any problems.
That is called pranayama or breathing techniques.
Pranayama is an ancient technique that gives you more control over your breath. How to breathe, how to control your breath. When you control your breath, you can get rid of stress, anxiety, anger. You might have seen it when you get angry; you start breathing fast.When you are happy, you openly breathe longer. So the breath is directly proportional to our emotions.
- Don’t practice on a full stomach; wait at least 2 hours after eating.
- While doing this, you should stop it immediately when you see symptoms like dizziness, nausea,
nervousness, or restlessness.
- If you have any disorder, practice in front of the yoga trainer.
